Nevertheless, He Loves You

Bright white neon sign of the letters "love"

Have you ever felt like you've messed up too many times for God to love you? The truth is, His love is not based on our perfection, but on His unchanging character. In Romans 5:8, it says, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." This means that even in our lowest moments, God's love remains steadfast.

So how should we respond to this amazing love? We can start by daily reflecting on the fact that God loves us nevertheless. Let this truth shape how we see ourselves and how we interact with others. When guilt or shame creeps in, remember that Jesus already paid for our mistakes on the cross.

Let's extend this "nevertheless" love to those around us by showing grace and forgiveness. Ask God who you may have given up on and choose to extend love to them this week. And in all that we do, let's respond to God's love out of gratitude, not obligation.

Remember, you are not lucky, but loved by a God whose love never fails. How will you live in response to this incredible love today?
