On Mother's Day at Rapha Sandy Springs, we celebrated the incredible love and sacrifice of mothers, reflecting on the story of Moses' mother in Exodus 2. In the face of a cruel decree, she displayed courage and compassion by risking everything to protect her child. This act of defiance against the status quo reminds us that God's deliverance often comes through unlikely sources and through the fire of adversity.
Just like Moses' mother, we may feel overwhelmed by what seems out of reach in our lives—fear, broken systems, or unfulfilled dreams. But when compassion meets courage, healing is never out of reach. We are called to imitate the sacrificial love of mothers, boldly standing up for the vulnerable and embodying God's compassion in our actions.
As we honor mothers and all who love courageously, let's be inspired to be agents of change in our families, communities, and beyond. Let's stretch out our hands in prayer, supporting and blessing those who embody the heart of a mother. Happy Mother's Day—let's go forth with compassion, courage, and a heart set on healing.
